Introduced in 1999 by Ronniger’s, it is a long “French Finger” type that is elongated and smooth versus other heirloom types with many eyes. It is a culinary delight, although it is a “waxy” type or Type B to Europeans. It makes a delicious, roasted French Fry drizzled with olive oil and herbs. It has red “flashes” through the yellow flesh. Great for salads, roasting and boiling.
